Stacy Winsberg Stacy Winsberg played collegiate softball at UCLA and was a member of three national championship teams (1982, 1984, 1985). She was also a two-time ASA All-American (1984, 1985) and competed internationally in the Tri-National Tournament (China) and Japan Cup in 1985.
She served as strength and conditioning coach for the U.S. Women's Softball National Team at the 1999 Pan American Games and the 2000 Olympics. In addition to her work with the U.S. National Team, Winsberg had owned Premier Sports Training and served as a conditioning consultant in Northern California. She was a licensed therapist and her clients included Olympic gold medalists, NCAA Division I athletic programs, and ASA teams and athletes. Stacy passed away in 2001 after a short battle with lung cancer. All of the royalties from the sales of Stacy’s 2 Winning Softball training programs are donated to the UCLA Softball program.
